Here’s what you can expect when you work with HBS Travel Co.:
Once I receive your form, we’ll schedule a discovery call to talk through your travel style, vision, and wishlist. If you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a client agreement and planning fee invoice to officially begin.
Next, I’ll design a personalized proposal based on everything we discussed. We’ll fine-tune the itinerary together until it feels just right.
Once you approve your trip, I’ll handle all the bookings—from hotels to transfers and everything in between. You’ll receive a beautifully organized digital itinerary with all the details in one place.
Time to jet off and enjoy the trip we’ve been planning. Whether you’re sipping wine with a view, lounging on the beach, tracking a lion on your Safari, or diving into the local food scene, you can relax knowing everything’s organized and ready to go. Your only job? Soak it all in.
Once you’re back, I’ll check in to hear what you loved and what’s next on your travel wishlist. Every trip helps us plan the next one even better.
You’ll get a seamless, stress-free planning experience—plus access to my expert knowledge, personalized recommendations, and exclusive perks you won’t find when booking on your own.
Planning fees are based on the complexity of the trip, level of customization, and length of travel. This allows me to offer fully tailored experiences and dedicate the time each itinerary deserves.
The more time, the better. For full itinerary planning, I ask for a minimum of 90 days’ notice to deliver the level of detail and service my clients expect. Keep in mind that popular destinations—like European summer vacations and African safaris—often book up 9 to 12 months in advance. Early planning means better availability, better rates, and first pick of the best experiences.
I work best with clients seeking a more elevated, customized luxury travel experience. The majority of my relationships are within the 4 star and 5 star space. While I don’t book budget travel, I’m happy to recommend where your budget will go furthest for the type of trip you have in mind.
I do not book flights or hotels using credit card points or airline miles, but I’m happy to offer guidance if you choose to use them for part of your trip.
I charge a planning fee for my time, research, and expertise. In many cases, I’m also paid a commission by hotels and tour partners—without affecting your rate.
Absolutely, if you’d like. I partner with an experienced air team who specializes in crafting complex flight itineraries and can assist with rebooking or rerouting if anything unexpected comes up—so you’re never stuck on hold with an airline.
Air ticketing fees do apply.
Not at all. In most cases, you’ll pay the same rate as you would booking directly—but with added value. Through my partnerships with luxury hotel programs and tour operators, you’ll receive exclusive perks like daily breakfast, room upgrades, resort credits, and VIP treatment—benefits not typically available when booking on your own.
